whatever happened to english pride??

after the watching the so called minnows of the rugby world cup playing with such passion and commitment, i wonder whether our sportmen (football included) are paid too much that they no longer have the hunger to play for their countries and see it just as a job. some of the lower seeded countries only earn the equivelant of £40 a week and had to rely on funding from the RFU to take part-but watching them play against so called professionals it left me wondering who was who.

come on the minnows!! all i hav to say is yachvili, dimitri plays for france even tho his brother plays for georgia, wot does that say bout loyalty other than the french hav none

i get what you are saying rosie, there is something about the minnows they play with such pride and never give up even when it seems hopeless. they show our guys a thing or too

mayb so but its not like our boys dont hav pride!! its just evry1 so down on them how can u expect to be fired up wen evry1 slates u! they no they hav the skill but they are jsut lackin confidence. plus the minnows hav nothin to lose we hav our title to lose, well its alreay lost mind
