when i travel on our local metro system, i always buy a daysaver, they cost about £2.50 and for that you can travel anywhere within the system ALL day, after i finish shopping or whatever (which is usualyy about 4pm) i try to hand my (valid) ticket on and no one ones to take it-i am hardly a jack the ripper lookalike so whats the deal??? i always thought the northeast was a friendly place so whats the problem???

it is the same in Glasgow, although you tend to find that if you terminate your journey at the bus station or on Argyle St (which is one of the main shopping streets) then people are more willing to accept your All Day Ticket (only costs £3 up here, but you can only use it within Greater Glasgow and only on buses) you have to be careful the drvers don't spy you passing on your ticket though, because they quite often refuse to accept them and make you pay full fare

thats tite! surely they cant do that. the ticket is a daysaver so it can be used all the time, they hav no real proof that its not urs, so surely u cud take there number and complain bout them?
