ask for your money back, if you went for a meal and it was pretty bad?
we recently went for a pub meal and boy it was bad, we hardly touched it-yet we paid the bill and left without saying a word.

Hmmm... toughy. I think maybe if the meal was that bad you should've said something when you'd tasted it - that way they'll probably re-cook your meal or give you your money back. But leaving it until you've eaten it, I guess isn't the best idea cause you've eaten it

I just re-read what you put about how you hardly touched it - then yeah that should be ok, as long as you do it while it's still hot....
yup

We once left having only paid for drinks....
The mussels weren't cooked properly and there was a dead ant stuck to a chip. Utterly disgusting

I would ask to speak to the manager and complain at the time rather than pay and then ask for the money back
Especially if there was a dead ant in the food - i might even phone the environmental health about that!
