from what i heard from the news its only people who have more than 2 thousand in that should worry

don't worry

besides a govt guarantee for all savers banks work by lending money around the system. the problem with the rock is cash flow. The Bank of England offered cash but this was covered by the Rocks assets ie the mortgages they own.
