please don't pity me. yes, Rob died and it is probably the worst thing that has EVER happened to me, BUT.... we had a wonderful friendship and a really amazing 5 months together and i have some fantastic memories which get me through the hard times. Brian and I talk about it all regularly, he and Rob were friends, we were all part of the same group and he understands my need to remember sometimes

I was a bit lost too about who Brian is, but have figured out he's one of Rob's friends and you've helped each other through the loss. I'm assuming it's Rob's name you have tattooed - is that right? .

Oops apologies for that. Just curious why you would get Brian's name tattooed when Rob was your ex-partner. Obvously was up too late last night and brain not in gear yet. Girlie nights out., who'd have 'em.

Aren't you worried that you might fall out with Brian? What would you do with his name if that did happen?

I'm just curious cause I think it's a fairly big thing to get someone's name tattooed on you....

I think I'm just too big a coward :(

i'm not worried about that at all, i don't forsee it ever happening. first and foremost Brian and I are best friends, who have an awful lot in common, not only our taste in musicetc, but our morals, ethics etc.

if i had been in any doubt whatsoever about our relationship, i would never have had his name tattooed on me. Brian is going to have my name tattooed before our wedding

Aha...the penny has dropped! You and Brian got together after Rob died? I understand now. I've heard of relationships where people have comforted each other over a great loss, and I am sure they work out. Lovely to hear that you found love again so quickly.

yeah, Rob died in February last year, and Brian and I got together in January of this year.
i was told by my psychic/clairvoyant the night before Rob's funeral that I wouldn't be alone for very long, but never expected it to be so quick or with someone who was already a friend and in our circle of friends......although I'm glad it was Brian and wouldn't change him for the world

That's nice that you've ended up being with someone who you were already close with and could trust. And with what happened with Rob I'm sure has made a special bond between you and Brian.

Well done for being brave!

What's the significance of a yellow button?
