i was listening to kiss by tom jones and think it is such a better version than the original by prince, can you think of any songs which where better by someone else?

No Doubt, It's My Life, but then again I am biased cause No Doubt are my fave band ;)

I like Amy Winehouse's version of Valerie better than the Zutons though :D

Steve Hogarth's version of The Whole Of The Moon is pretty fab

Marillion covered one of my all time favourite songs, Way Over Yonder, by Carole King, and the blues guitar solo in spine tingling

Hush by Kula Shaker is also rather fine 8)

and not to forget the gorgeous KT Tunstall's cover of I Want You Back by The Jackson 5

God yes Kula Shaker are fab, and they've reformed and are touring agian, Crispian Mills is gorgeous. Who's Steve Hogarth? Don't know him, is he new?

steve hogarth is the lead singer with Marillion, but, like the rest of the band, he has a pretty impressive solo career too.

you should, Emzi, they're FAB live

i saw them last year in The Zodiac in Oxford and they rocked the roof right off.
again this year, in QMU in Glasgow, they were even better

Just had a look at seetickets but there's only Leicester showing. I'll have to keep my eye on it :)
