Motorbikes

My boyfriend keeps telling me he wants a motorbike, but I think they're dangerous The thought of him going on one scares me and then he mentioned me going on with him, that scares me even more

Of course, I'm not going to stop him from getting one because if he wants one he wants one... but that still wont stop me worrying about him when he's on it

What do you think? Do you like motorbikes? Do you think they're dangerous?

I think they're only as dangerous as you make them. Does he drive a car already? Is he careful in that or does he drive like a nutter? If he's a careless car driver then he'll be a careless biker, if he's careful in a car, then he'll be the same on a bike. Maybe if you say you would feel better if he had loads of tuition and took any further courses to hone his skills, he would go for that. You love him, and you're scared of something happening to him, so it's understandable you're worried.

Yeah he's a careful driver. So much so that I got him insured on my car recently as he declared his car sorn - so he's free to drive that whenever he likes and I'm ok with that cause I know he's safe.

I guess you're right. I know he'll be safe and careful on a motorbike - it's just careless car drivers who don't see motorbikes I'm worried about

I don't think it's going to happen in the near future though, but when the time does come I'll see how it goes. Maybe I will pluck up the courage to ride on the back with him
