Overcharged

Overchargedby Belfast girl » Wed Sep 19, 2007 10:15 am

I bought a load of home heating oil yesterday - price was £179 on the website and i ordered it online

It got delivered this morning and the delivery slip says i've been charged £190! thats the price it is on the site today!

I know it's not very much but I could have got it cheaper in loads of other places! Going to go to the bank at lunchtime and check exactly how much they've taken

You should get charged exactly what the price was at the time you bought it - if they've taken £190 you need to get in touch with them and tell them you want the charge to be as it was when you bought it, or you want a refund.

It's obviously gone up in price between me ordering and receiving it but they never even gave me a confirmation email so I can't prove what time I ordered at but I think it was about 10.20 cos I know i emailed my bf to say I'd done it and he replied at 10.21

I have to go to the bank at lunchtime anyway so I'll get them to check how much they've taken in case it is a mistake on the delivery slip
