Christmas

Christmasby Emzi » Thu Oct 25, 2007 10:56 am

Christmas is a time that usually stresses me out! :(

Has anyone started their christmas shopping yet?

I've got lots to get and haven't started yet, although me and my boyfriend have written a list for what we want to get the kids...

We're going to my mums for christmas dinner but we're getting the turkey which we still need to pre-order in time...

Does anyone else feel stressed over the christmas period, or is it just me?

i've started my shopping, although i'm not quite as organised as Maggie, my twin, who has most of her shopping done and her cards all written out!

i don't know what i'm doing for christmas. Maggie, Scott and Rebecca normally go out for dinner with Mum, Dad and Gran. I'm sure I'll be welcome there......NOT

i'm hoping to get some more shopping done when my next lot of sick pay comes in, although i have to admit that i'm only buying for Rebecca (Maggie's daughter) Kayleigh (Tracey's daughter) and my oldest friend's three kids. I've told Maggie she's getting bugger all, but i'm going to try to get her something special. Obviously, with it being our first Christmas together, i'll be getting something for Brian, although i'm not sure what yet.....maybe something else to add to his Highland Outfit ~ i bought him a skean dhu for his birthday  (he's as Scottish as i am Japanese....but his mum is from northern ireland, so he is entitled to wear a tartan, well, that's my excuse for buying it anyway)

Oh I do love a man in Highland Dress- Dave looks fantastic in his, he has a very toned body and great legs, even if I do say so myself. He wears his at all the works nights, etc at Christmas and New Year. I bet Brian looks fantastic in his too Annora.

i'm trying hard to talk him into a kilt for the wedding! Maggie's mother in law runs a kilt hire shop in Glasgow and she's always on at me to take him in to get measured!

hehe yeah Christmas isn't the Christmas without snow :)

I'm especially looking forward to Christmas this year cause it'll be the first christmas me and my boyfriend have spent in our own house, so I'm looking forward to getting a nice big tree and decorating the place etc. etc. :) I'll probably still feel stressed in the process lol but it'll be worth it :)
